Another video produced in lockdown with a barebones crew. BlackMagicWomaxn approached me with the brief that she wanted a narrative, specifically didn't want to represent a romantic relationship and did want the inclusion of balloons.
For the sake of keeping our cast and crew minimal, as well as tie into the song's themes of bad habits, we focused on the idea of cigarettes. This tied in nicely with the playful party aesthetic, matching the songs upbeat/lo-fi tone, working on the fundamentals of what is seen as unhealthy i.e what we weren't allowed as children.
